As the Summer fades and Fall returns to our beautiful state, I hope you all are well rested and energized for another year of Leadership, Friendship, and Service!!!
As you may or may not be aware, at our Spring conference hosted by Kappa Phi, incumbent Keegan Daley chose not to run for re-election as Section Chair of 89. Although he will be travelling abroad for the next three years, Keegan will remain in close contact as a friend of the section and valued member of staff.
As the newest Chair of Section 89, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. An alumni of the Alpha Delta Eta chapter at SUNY Albany and the Beta Iota chapter of New York University, I have served in many roles, including: FVP, Pledgemaster, Rush Co-Chair, Public Relations Chair, and national, regional, and sectional voting delegate. I have also had the opportunity to serve as chair for a number of conferences - 2005 Joint RI/II Conference, 2006 Section 97 Conference, and 2008 National Convention - as well as assist in the planning of many events throughout Regions I and II. Currently, I work as a contract laborer for the Rochester City School District and voice actor.
I'm absolutely ecstatic to serve as your Section Chair!!! I have gathered a staff of experienced, energetic, committed, and ingenious brothers who have already teamed up in preparation for the best year Section 89 has seen yet. We all look forward to getting to know you better and providing you with outstanding support, unbiased feedback and guidance, and leadership training. I encourage you all to get to know staff members, communicate with me and them frequently, and allow us to share all the resources we have to offer. Together, I have no doubt that we will learn much from one another as we succeed in making our section, and the brothers in it, the best we all can be.
